Highlights From Our DMV & MA Annual Meetings
October was a busy (and exciting!) month for CPA Co-op, hosting annual meetings in both Massachusetts and the DMV! Co-op members, purchasers, vendors, and partners gathered in each city to share the latest co-op news, connect with others from the community, and celebrate our members making an impact.
For many, our annual meetings are one of the only times members and participants are able to talk in person, which is often a reason many enjoy attending. During our table discussions, participants were not only able to learn about neighboring community organizations, but also explore ways to support one another and offer solutions to common challenges.
In Massachusetts, we heard from an engaging group of panel participants (John Cianciarulo - Temple Beth Shalom, Needham Ibrahim Omar - ISBCC and Rev. Darrell R. Hamilton II - First Baptist Jamaica Plain) who shared their involvement in the co-op over the past year and their wishes for the future.
At the DMV meeting, we heard from three members (L’Tanya Holley - Maya Angelou PCS, Marjorie Howard - SEED Public Charter School, and Denise Lloyd - Temple Rodef Shalom) who were eager to share their experience working with CPA staff, tackling challenges together and finding considerable savings in the process.
