Lauren Greenspan

Head of People and Culture

"I have always thought what is needed is the development of people who are interested not in being leaders as much as in developing leadership in others." -Ella Baker

Lauren joined CPA Co-op as its second full time staff person in 2016. A lifelong learner, she has worn multiple hats to support the rapid growth and development of our cooperative including but not limited to: HR, Communications, Graphic Design, and Video Production. Anti-oppression and cooperative principles are at the heart and center of Lauren’s work at CPA. She recognizes the power of co-ops, dynamic governance, and community organizing to interrupt business as usual and press for social and economic change. (You can follow her work on YouTube here).

Prior to joining the CPA team, Lauren worked for Duke University where she focused on continuing education programs for religious leaders and alumni of Duke Divinity School. She earned her masters in Theological Studies at Duke and holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Religion from Truman State University.
